Indian Child Welfare and Tribal Foster Care Training
South Canadian Resource Center offers training and seminars to educate ICW workers or others currently working in the Indian Child Welfare or Tribal Foster Care fields. We have over 20 years of experience and our instructors provide you with first-rate information and training that is applicable to real world circumstances.
Technical consultation and training can be on subjects such as Native American grants, qualifying as an expert witness, setting up Tribal Codes, trends in Indian Child Welfare, child risk assessment, child care risk assessment policies, or resolving complicated State cases.
Personal consulting or coaching can also be scheduled at our on-site events in the evenings to insure that participants receive specific help for a unique problem on their case load. South Canadian can also come to your site for personalized help or instruction.
Each participant who completes our training receives a Certificate of Continuing Education and approval from national boards can be obtained for most certification requirements.
